The 25-year-old man shot in both legs in west Belfast on Thursday was the third instance of a paramilitary “vigilante” shooting in the city this week.
A man in his 20s was shot multiple times by three men
wearing balaclavas who forced their way into a house in Brompton Park in the Ardoyne area on Monday night.
And an 18-year-old man was shot twice in each leg on Tuesday morning in a flat on the Antrim Road.
Update Fourth such attack in just over a week.
A 48-year-old man has been shot in both knees in an attack in west Belfast.
The shooting took place just before 1600 GMT at Iveagh Parade.
