It’s back for the 2019 Local Elections, we typically sit down and review the party election broadcasts that are hitting your screens. This year we brought Allison Morris from the Irish News together with Chris Brown from Brown O’Connor, our own Alan Meban and myself to look at the broadcasts of the main parties.
How does it work? Each of us watched the PEBs and voted each of them out of ten.
And the winner is……..the Alliance Party.
You can listen to our full set of musings – frivolous and more serious – about messaging, target audiences, music and aesthetics as well as politics in our podcast.
And if you want to play along at home, each of the party election broadcasts we reviewed can be found online – DUP, Sinn Fein, SDLP, UUP, Alliance – no Green Party PEB was available to view online at the time of recording last Thursday afternoon.
