Gardaí said some of the weapons looked in poor condition and included Provisional IRA weapons that should have been decommissioned.
Fifteen kilos of Semtex and other bomb-making equipment, such as detonator cord and igniters, were seized.
Firearms including an Uzi sub-machine gun, a Glock semi-automatic pistol, revolvers, shotguns, a silencer and a Taser stun gun were also recovered.
Around 1,300 rounds of ammunition were also among the cache.
Interestingly, the semtex was of the older sort, so technically, well, in fact, this batch should have been decommissioned…
