And the latest in the poster wars…

  • Bob Wilson

Yawn – a tedious effort worthy of class war Labourite!

  • Quincey

Get used to it. Theres going to be a lot of regurgitated Labourite/ Socialist Workers Party/ Class War type stuff to come.

  • unionistvoter

Issue now moved on though Mick the fact that you have the photo on your website without paying for it does raise queries.

  • At least it is a genuine subject, not just more north/south stuff. It seems a bit old fashioned though. I thought we had done all that ‘class’ stuff.

  • The Raven

The secret of a good joke is brevity.

After the bitchslap the DUPes got earlier, they really should just suck it up and move on.

  • dundonald voter

the thing here though is this. the dup are using this for there election campaign and i would like to ask them how many of their children were educated through the state? did ian junior not go to queens? did daddy pay for that. as for medical care is iris private or national health?

exclusive club in london might side on the private. so really all the dup politicians can afford to put their children through education and it seems get the best of medical care, i would think in my humble opinion that they should be the ones who could afford to vote tory.

  • dundonald voter

It was ever so. Tony Bliar went to public school, so many of them did. Obviously politics is a lucrative career move.

  • dundonald voter

pippakin it would seem so. but do they really need to be so patronising with their slogans when in truth they can all afford private education and medical care and the politicians are really the ones according to the posters should be actually all voting tory

  • dundonald voter

To me it is so old fashioned, it is a throwback to a time when what media there was did as it was told.

I think it is unwise to do the old ‘them v us’ routine, these days the politicians are ‘them’ and the rest of us are seeing through it.

  • FitzjamesHorse

Voting Conservative is not about being “rich”….its about being greedy.

  • Halfer

    pippakin @ #4

So the class question has been resolved then pippakin?

  • Halfer

I dont think the ‘class’ question can ever be resolved. I do think politicians are no longer believed when they say they will either change or get rid of it.

  • dundonald voter

pippakin your sounding like someone who talks a lot of good sense

  • dundonald voter

You have deptth, insight and can clearly see the real thing! If only our politicians were the same…

so who told peter the punt and lord morrow (him of the never in a political lifetime) to do the deal on policing and justice? was it gordon brown or was it perhaps brian cowen? i mean harry any major descion we take always involves the two governments. are we under de facto joint sovereignty and the british and irish have forgot to tell the punt? who is pulling his strings? or did they make the descion because if he didnt more scandals would have come out (or been allowed to come out) if the punt hadnt done the deal. so whose pocket is he in harry?

  • dundonald voter

and when no real answer just stick another funny poster

  • dundonald voter

    are you for real harry?

  • dundonald voter

well the punt aint poor is he harry? nor is junior who was put through queens cos he had a rich father eh harry? as i keep saying the cuts wont affect iris who is getting private care in an exclusive we spot costing £1000 per day. it wont affect ian junior who has rich parents and does a lot of lobbying for rich mates.

  • dundonald voter

but it will affect the people who live in dundonald ballybeen working class areas harry. but it wont affect the big house’s unionism of the dup

  • dundonald voter

and were are all the jobs the punt has brought to east belfast harry h claims in his election leaflet? bringing 50 jobs in and east belfast losing 1000 jobs dont add up to success punt does it now. keep moving n ireland forward to the dole offce peter

tell me DV – you complain about the likes of seymour sweeney. Sweeney is a developer – tell me how many people has he employed over the last 10 years in his building contracts?
