On Slugger’s cautious approach…

There’s lots of little snippets of gossip on the net, on some of the ancillary detail of this story. There is even an appreciation page on Facebook to one of the people being touted as Iris Robinson’s lover (98 fans last I looked). David Cochrane on Politics.ie has lots of little bits and pieces on the story and Twitter is full of wit and comment. We’re holding fire till the programme’s gone live…

If you are in Siberia (at least one of our readers is!!) where you can’t get Spotlight, I’ll be tweeting the programme live at www.twitter.com/mickfealty… In the meantime, if you haven’t seen it, there’s a really good discussion on Vincent Browne from last night… in which Lisa Marie Berry makes some particularly telling points about the mental health aspect of this… It starts from about 28 mins in…

Update: The Guardian names Iris Robinson’s lover as Kirk McCambley… Update to the Update: And now that is confirmed, have a look at Bobballs piece just before the programme starts

    Mick,

Meant to compliment you on your Talkback gig.

“Lisa Marie Berry makes some particularly telling points about the mental health aspect of this”

Speaking of experts, who was that saddo at the end of the show, Judi James ? Expert in body language? Pullease.

I’m guessing that her clients won’t be retaining her after today’s idiotic ramblings. But hey, I’m fully aware that mediocrity is king in our time so who knows.

Great news that you will be twitting Mick. Can’t get BBC TV programmes here either, just radio.

That’s the firm favourite on Facebook, Twitter and P.ie… Paul Clarke tried to ask about the guys age on UTV earlier, but Nigel cut him dead before we got to the critical age.

But if we start off on that before the guy is officially named, then we might get into trouble.

He is not going to be the main focus of attention in the programme though… That is, in a manner of speaking, old news we don’t quite know yet…

  • Scaramoosh

Yes, sadly out here in Yakutsk, eastern Siberia, where it is currently 06:22 and -38, we are still minus the delight that is Spotlight.

  • Lionel Hutz

I’m bored now. Anything more worthwhile to talk about?

Pete Baker has an interesting piece on frightfully ancient tetrapods.
