They haven’t gone away but Gerry doesn’t seem to know. Or does he?

Storey has ruined my aesthetic appreciation of butterflies for the foreseeable future. I used to think of Jagger and Richards. Now it’s some knuckle-dragger with an itchy trigger finger.

“Jagger and Richards” had already ruined mine long ago…..

  • Kevin Breslin

Way to go Bobby Storey, no one associates butterflies with causing chaos.

  • Richard Reid

Too much being made of a semi-literate trying to use imagery.

I remember “Poor Butterfly” as almost a theme tune running through Len Deighton’s novel “Winter”……

  • William Carr

My good lady (her of the moth traps and surveys) has mentioned more than once the relative scarcity of butterfly’s this year, she will be delighted with the addition of the greater spotted Ra!
