wow Banksy has been in Belfast, its one of his right?

  • Don’t think so but my initial reaction was the same DR.

I can’t be certain it’s Banksy although I do sense I’ve seen this somewhere before. It’s certainly Banksy-esque and he has used the CCTV bit before in a number of other works.

    The headwear’s very….em…seasonal. Coincidence ?

  • Yeah it put me in mind of this from 3 years ago

Theres another one at the bottom of Alfred Street. It’s of a Mouse holding a Rocket Launcher at a Cat.

    Banksy copy-catting

I never really paid attention to Banksy, but after reading these comments, I looked at his stuff and it’s true that this one and my mouse/cat one do unintentionally seem a bit like his, though his work is much better. (depending on your overall thoughts re: this type of art.)

As to the choice of headwear, I tried to keep it so as to be seen either as or not as a bowler in response to the season.

I admit I found this site whilst narcissistically googling myself one evening. I’m glad I did, it’s a great site.
