Further research is recommended as it’s difficult to tell at first glance what persuasion the bra it is….bearing mind mind that, as we know, the Catholic type supports the masses, the Presbyterian type keeps them firm, staunch and upright and the Baptist brassiere (I’m told) makes mountains out of mole hills. . . .

I guess conceivably it could be a Salvation Army one too. My understanding is that they’re splendid for lifting the fallen.

Throw my leg over barbed wire love
Barbed wire love snags my jeans”

They look pretty solid from here, armour plating? and barbed wire too.. A storm in a full cup perhaps…

I hope the poor girl got home safely, perhaps it was a low flying broomstick?

I can’t speak for the owner but you better believe all Witches are Bitches. Do not cross a Witch for fear of the Bitch…

I’ll take your word on it-

A bitch a day keeps the witches away-

Just supposing that that fence was some form of jurisdictional interface barrier and by chance (only just) the cameraman’s p.o.v. was from the northern loyalist side of it, one could almost say that the black garment fluttering thonder constitutues a nearly-over-the-border over the shoulder orange order boulder holder. No ?

  • Drumlins Rock

I think it is probably a republic item, almost certainly a supporter of BarbedBra De Brun.

    Erin Go Bra ?

Who would get a ladder and climb up to have sex against Barbed wire ( if that is what happened) ? Only in Ulster… only in Ulster !

Incidently thanks to Pip for suggesting that it could be from a witch… who would have thought that they went in for sexy underwear ?

On a more serious note during my hiatus from slugger and the internet generally save for read only, these past weeks my broadband has been totally stable and problem free. I just typed a long political content directly on to a blogg comment section….. and suffered a disconnect and content loss just as I finished.

I would like to hear fro others here who suffer from these ‘ connection terminated by remote site’ experience. At a recent International conference I found that my experience was not unique and it also indicates live monitoring of ‘problem ( for the authorities that is ) contributers’. On other occasions when I brought this practice to public notice in slugger my broadband connection suddenly became very stable indeed !

It would be helpfull for other polemic contributers to list if they too are subject to these ‘spook’ interferences as quantifing and high lighting the practice would cause an immediate back off of this censorship and unlawfull practice.

PS. Moochin, could you organize your sources a bit better and try to get there before or while these things are happening ? Now that would make an interesting photo!

Was it asking too much to expect you to read the headline before getting distracted by the er, scenery?

To the rest of your comment. I have had oodles of problems connecting to Slugger, but then I have problems connecting to anywhere. Are you not being just a tad paranoid…

  • MV,

Firefox crashes on me once a day or so; and only when I am on Slugger. I’m no expert but I think the problem lies with a program which loads with firefox. It’s called plugin-container.exe.

please take it that as of my previous life I know more than a little of the electronic world ! Twenty ‘remote site terminations’ in a half hour, the problem highlighted in slugger or elsewhere and suddenly problems vanish and a stable connection for the next couple of days. You figure.

Terminations are tame and at the lower end of the scale, some right wing sites actually attempt to download viruses it they do not agree with posted content. I was a target of an attempted computer defraud scam last year when I tried to book a holiday house in Southern France, I reported it to a scam monitoring site : guess what ? the scammers monitored the complaint site too and launch virus attacks against the complainants. This is the real world out there.

Slugger is regarded as a ‘site of interest’ to the spooks and their masters in the struggle for ‘hearts and minds’ where the content is carefully monitored. Things are now so technologically advanced that posters can be hacked, monitored even as they type and content interfered with even before they post by disrupting the connection.

Most people posting contentious articles also use techniques to bypass these official disruptions but the main one is exposure of the practice : as Johnson said of the KKK ‘ they strike at night as their kind always do since their purpose cannot stand the light of day.

I have had first hand experience of some of the activities some of our own clowns got up to with Billy Flynn and the rest of us when he was trying to break the Donegall scandal open. They are rank kindergarden compare to the Brits COIN people who are the probable culprits here.

‘a tad paranoid…’ I have some experience of these things Pip and take it from me it is not a nice place to be and neither are the things done there very nice either ! Arbitrary and systematic regular disconnections are but the tip of the iceberg and the most harmless aspect of such activity

  • pippakin

Its also possible that its just one of those things. My own blog has had difficulties but I really don’t think it was because the security whatsits are at all interested in me. I mean even all of Blogger.com went down for days! I sent them several tweets…

  • Explanation to Tourists.

This is a typical Belfast washing line shortly after items of cultural value, eg Rangers/Celtic football shirts, Sloggi underwear, Tommy Hilfigger sweats and similar, have been appropriated by interested locals who recycle same for their own use. Such community self help is commonplace and donations are an everyday event.

  • Munsterview

yes it could be just one of those things. However when these disconnects and broadband malfunctions regularly happen the same time as covert activities are being exposed and at no other times, then the coincidence aspect starts to wear a bit thin !

I regularly research and keep up to date with what is happening in the COIN and related security industry areas. Any poking around those areas that do not come from one of their ‘acceptable sources’ can result in all sorts of mischief such as a virus download etc depending on site promoters.

This is not fantasy, this is reality and to those who know, how the game is played! On this side of the Atlantic it is covert but incur the wrath of some Stateside sites and the interference is really overt and in your face.

The pertinent question is: did she cast it off in a moment of wild abandon? Or did it get snagged while trying to escape from… the other side.
    We can never know.

  • pippakin

I find its always worth looking at all possibilities, when Blogger went down (all of it) conspiracy theorists must have been having a field day, but its just as likely someone forgot to flick a switch or pay the rent, or something.

Slugger itself went down a week or so ago, not because the spooks got at it, but that simply and mundanely someone who shall remain nameless forgot to pay the bill….

I knew there was a practical reason.

Yeah, the spooks love wasting their time listening in on waffly wannabes who talk shit all day.

Comerade Stalin : I never suggested that they were only reading your contributions exclusivly !

Is it a Prod Bra or a Catholic Bra?

  • andnowwhat

We need the culture minister to slap a preservation order on this monument to modern society.

Balls on the Falls my arse. A bra on a fence is real NI culture 2011

    Indeed Joe …. indeed!

But it sure looks that it has lost any support it used to have … at least if that picture is anything to go by.
