I’d heard tell of a campaign for people to move Tony Blairs memoir to the crime section in bookshops and in two separate bookshops today it seems that some folks are doing so.

  • Drumlin Rock

    Right beside Gerry Adams book?

  • Johnkingii

No gerrys books should be in the horror/fantasy section

  • Didlee D O’Squat

This “campaign” is a ‘Viz Top Tip’ from the Sunday Times (5/9/10).

Not surprising really given that the Two Fat Slags are noted political commentators.

  • Alias

The advantage of these antics to Mr Blair is that they portray his accusers as a bunch of childish titheads, thereby trivialising serious allegations.

  • Didlee D O’Squat

Correct. As with Blair’s response to the actions of the violent thugs in Dublin he can appear as measured and mature and the story becomes the reaction to his book rather than his version of events contained therein.

  • joeCanuck

I’m pretty sure the book beside it says Grisham, not Grizzly 😉

  • pinni

I’m sure Tony Blair really appreciates all the useful idiots, like MP, who have kept his book in the news for so long! 😉

  • HeinzGuderian

    Grizzly Grimm’s fairy tales !! 🙂

  • Michael

Allegations that will be acted on by whom exactly?
Childish titheadedness is about all thats left.

  • Pod

It just goes to show how transfixed and Gerry-obsessed this website is when even a discussion about of photo of Tony Blair’s book descends into a Gerry bashing session.

I haven’t read the book and I doubt I ever will, but I heard on the grapevine that according to Blair’s book, the Bloody Sunday massacre occurred in Belfast.

“To assuage Nationalist opinion and under pressure from the Irish, I also ordered an inquiry into the Bloody Sunday shootings in 1972, when British troops had opened fire on protesters in Belfast, killing a number of people.”
