If sales are drying up at home, flog it abroad…

In these tough times, it’s good to know that a Northern Ireland small industry is flourishing abroad, even if it’s not doing so well at home.
The DFM was unable to attend due to the death of his mother . Not all the nuances were quite right

The Right Honorable Martin McGuinness, MP
House of Commons
United Kingdom
(via videoconference)

Continuing with the theme of former enemies, protestant Jeffrey Donaldson is on hand. Donaldson, a lead negotiator of the Good Friday Accord, rejected the agreement as too lenient on the IRA, but has since reconciled.”

I wonder what Jeffrey actually said?

I’m sure they’ll return ready to give sage advice to the home-grown legislators.

  • It wasn’t just the ‘nuances’ that weren’t quite right, Brian Walker, the facts weere also a bit screwed – MMcG is not a ‘Right Honourable’ – that is a title that is given to members of the Privy Council, IIRC, and Martin most certainly isn’t. I’m pretty sure Alderdice isn’t either, but Donaldson is.

I love the first sentences of the CBS report – gives a whole new meaning to the word pal and its derivatives.

Horseman is correct on the Rt. Hon titles
PDRobinson/J Ddonaldson/IK Paisley and perhaps Trimble are members.. It is an interesting situation. The DUP has access via the Privy Council to all necessary intelligence relating to terrorism. It is gradually getting through to all but the slow learners that the St AA was for the first time in decades a massive negotiating success for Unionism in general and the DUP in particular. The privy Council membership is just another little remarked manifestation of this.
Time for those who want progress and prosperity for the people they represent to get on with real issues and leave Pand J to an All party Committee to come forward with a clear road map and get on with accepting reality.

“The DUP has access via the Privy Council to all necessary intelligence relating to terrorism.”

So you know exactly what your new friends did during the ‘war’?
