Daily crack from #EP19: The #EastwoodExpress, Martina lays into Jim and “the Remain tag team”…

So, first of our election round ups (if we miss anything important, just stick it in the comment zone, or email me or David on the side)…

So although I missed the UTV debate on Monday, the Sinn Fein Twitter account took the trouble to share Martina Anderson’s slapdown of Jim Allister (both are actually quite shy and introverted when you meet them in person) but Jim apparently was wearing one of his louder personas that night…

Colum Eastwood is getting the best out of his bus (aka the #EastwoodExpress), showing up in all sorts of places where people haven’t seen a senior nationalist politician for years: like, the DUP’s launch at Crusaders ground in north Belfast (right in front of Nigel Dodds’ office apparently), Holywood and Bangor…

The DUP’s Diane Dodds was in Brexit Central yesterday in North Antrim. I like the distinctive messaging on the DUP tweets:

Today on Talkback the debate between Colum Eastwood (speaking from Balmoral), Naomi Long and Jim Allister gave us two great lines. First, Jim’s “liberal tag team” to describe the two advocates and even better from Naomi pitching a line from her structural engineering background as to why a second referendum is desirable: “measure twice, cut once”. Nice.

Oh and here, just in from the south, nice wee video from Fianna Fáil filleting Sinn Fein’s Pro EU credentials:

Jim tells us (well, not just us, that part of Twitter which is still listening to him rather than shouting at him) that his PEB is on tonight:

Let’s try and keep this going, if you have any tip offs let us know. Have fun, and see you tomorrow!!
