Magners League Weekend 13

The second blank 6 nations weekend sees a full programme in the Magners League:
Here’s the table. Bit of a gap emerging between Ulster and the play off places. Tonight a fairly desperate Scarlets, in severe danger of losing their European spot next season, will be a tough encounter.
Fixtures:
Friday, 05 March 2010
Connacht 19-19 Glasgow
Scarlets 25-8 Ulster
Saturday, 06 March 2010
Newport-Gwent Dragons 31-22 Munster,
Sunday, 07 March 2010
Cardiff Blues 20-29 Leinster
Edinburgh 33-17 Ospreys

Went to see a dismal Blues performance v Leinster 2nds. Caught the excellent Dragons victory over a strong Munster team on the box. Looks like a dogfight between Blues and Scarlets for the final Welsh European place.

All home victories except Ulster to get a bonus point away win. As Martin L King once said to his neighbour over the fence – “Always believe in yer dreams mate”.

Nicely summed up as ever by Jim Neilly, “There’s the final whistle, the referee has seen enough, and frankly tonight, so have I.”
