    Dewi,

thought Dragons played well and were unlucky not to be in the lead at half time and Munster were a bit sluggish but the much criticised Nick Williams finally looked like a decent player and scored a hatrick.

ps With due respect(i.e. none) to the Welsh regions the big one is next weekend when Leinster play Munster at the RDS.

Nicked the quote below from munsterfans.com – probably the best sports site in the world.

“Excerpt from Grand Slam: How Ireland achieved rugby greatness- in the players own words (taken from Sunday Times 30/08/09)

Donncha O Callaghan: I knew they’d have a huge price on Rog’s head. I know Ryan Jones from the Lions- a real nice guy, no malice in him at all. When I saw him doing it in the frist minute I thought: “If Ryan Jones is thinking of giving Rog a belt, imagine the way the rest of them are thinking.” I probably shouldn’t have got involved that early on but I wanted to let him know that I knew what they were at- and they weren’t getting away with it. Playing with Rog is like playing with your sister- you have to mind him.

Has the outside half factory moved west.
    Sorry Dewi could not resist

Cracking second half performance from Ulster on friday night, with Humph, PW and young Faloon putting in excellent performances. Real shame we didn;t hold on against edingurgh last week at ravenhill or we’d be top of the pile :(.
Good to see Munster and Leinster getting warmed up for the heiny – should go far again this season. As for ulster, llanelli at home on friday, so a good oppertunity to gain further momentum B4 the european cup. hopefully ferris and danielli will be fit again soon.
