There’s only one game that really matters today and it kicks off in Cardiff at 5.30pm. RTÉ’s Brendan Cole has a bold prediction – Ireland by 10 points. The Guardian’s Robert Kitson is more cautious, Ireland by a single point – “roared on by the hoarse ghosts of ’48.”. And Eddie Butler is settling down to watch the fur fly.. Half-Time In Rome, Italy 3 – 25 France Final Italy 8 – 50 France Half-Time At Twickenham, England 15 – 3 Scotland Final England 26 – 12 Scotland Grand Slam! Wales 15 – 17 Ireland. Last minute penalty miss by Wales leaves Ireland in front and undefeated Six Nation Champions 2009.
