Grand Lodges launch youth based gospel site

The combined Grand Orange Lodges of Scotland, Ireland and England have launched a new project aimed at bringing the gospel to todays youth. A quick look reveals a very modern & interactive site filled full of Christian video and learning materials as well as messages from the various Grand Masters. The new website can be viewed here

I do hope that these Christian teaching methods can help pupils to know when an apostrophe is required. But maybe “todays” LOL Christian teachers just don’t care about that sort of thing.

But never mind, if you can let me have the video that gives the lowdown on the water-into-wine trick you’ll have no criticism from me.

I’ve been rereading the bible and thinking a lot about the Holy Ghostrecently.

  • Indeed – you will have to blame it on the Scottish education system – I don`t remember ever being taught about `singular possessives` and `Compound nouns` in my English classes.

Excellent website, Kilsally. Thanks for the link.

  • Visually it is very well done and attractive. Will have to take some time to go through it later.

I like the juxtaposition of the bought-in snaps of smilin’ young American folks with the pictures of the three gnarlies in full regalia who are obviously on a trailer in the field.

Not too fussed on the whole religious aspect of this but did see a performance of the Dublin City Gospel Choir at the Electric Picnic and I can highly recommend checking them out. Aw the memories, lying out on the grass in the nice afternoon sun…..hungover!!!

Just like bacon and eggs or bread and jam I suppose. Still like these it does seem to be a very popular combination. Ask Pat Robertson or Generalissimo Franco. Oh! sorry he is currently not in a position to answer (unless you’re really, really religious).

    Ciarn,

I don’t think there would be much electric at an Orange picnic. Maybe some static.
