Within loyalist communities political murals have been evolving significantly, Just 1 quick example is a mural likening the Ulster Freedom Fighters to CuChulainn, an ancient defender of Ulster, with the “Champions of Ulster” slogan, at the entrance of Lincoln Courts estate in the Waterside, Londonderry. Within the last couple of years this has now been decommissioned and replaced by a mural celebrating the Harland and Wolff shipyards inb East Belfast, where, amongst others, the famous Titanic was built.
