DUP attends in numbers…

The DUP has not stinted on sending manpower, which one of their number suggests is because they feel that Sinn Fein is recognising the Unionist bottom line. Given the need to bring along the party’s wide coalition of interests, it makes sense for them to have as many individuals in close as possible to any potential deal.

    ” 13-strong team “

    Shudders.

Perhaps a little optimistic to say “it makes sense for them to have as many individuals in close as possible to any potential deal”, Mick.

While I wouldn’t disagree that would be advisable, it’s equally true to say simply – Given the need to keep together the party’s wide coalition of interests, it makes sense not to cause any possible resentment by leaving someone waiting on the sidelines while others make the trip to Kent.

Sounds like the Last Supper for Unionism who will Judas be?

thirteen is a veru unlucky number, maybe better if they had off left someone off or drafted someone else in.

Wonder how many ulster unionists are going

Also, I wonder if Bob McCartney has given Paisley the talk about that bible story concerning a certain man being taken to the top of the mountain and offered the world….

Rebecca, that number was why I shuddered and I must admit, it’s certainly unlucky for anybody having to face that number of them !

  • Rebecca Black

indeed, walking down the DUP corridor in Stormont is disturbing enough, I can’t imagine being face with 13 of the most obstinate of them would be much fun!

Anyone have figures of how many from other political parties are going?

  • Rebecca Black

or the names of the duppers that are going?
