It seems that there’s been a rapid escalation in racially inspired attacks in Belfast over the weekend. Chair of the Anti Rascism Network Davy Carlin said today, “these attacks were not specific to any one area. Society needs to acknowledge that racist attacks are not just happening in Belfast, but around Northern Ireland and particularly in areas of social and economic deprivation”.
