Keir Starmer elected as new leader of the Labour Party…

At last Labour Party members have seen sense and decided to choose an electable leader. Keir won on the first round of voting, with more than 50% of the vote.

Keir is a poster child for social mobility. From a working-class background he passed the 11plus and worked his way up to the dizzy heights of Sir Keir Starmer KCB QC. As you can see from The Socialist Party reply above hard work and personal success do not go down well with some of the left who it seems would prefer to stay in self-righteous perpetual political irrelevance.

As a Barrister, he is the perfect person to eviscerate the vacuous pronouncements of Boris Johnson. Most importantly he is someone who will appeal to middle England. Some may criticise him as a Tony Blair figure but remember Tony Blair for all his faults did win three elections.
