Photo of the day – no flags

I saw this bin in Portstewart at the weekend. No idea why they do not accept flags. All suggestions welcome.

Maybe its flags as in flagstones.

Agree, given that it’s between rubble and bricks.

For anyone with young teenage children, it is becoming something of a nightmare disposing of their used flags.

Plenty of NO flags about in 1985 but I thought they were all gone-

Voted in by Sinn Fein/IRA and their bed-mates, Alliance, on Coleraine Borough Council no doubt

Just keep going down the Randalstown line till ye get to the Crosskeys, keep her on the main road ye’ll see a couple of gate posts with two big eagles on top of them, go straight on past that, there’s a mawn there buys flags for 20 pound a half-weight.

Sells them in eastern Europe so he does.

He made a fortune after the pallet market crashed.
