Ireland close to opening win in World Twenty20

Dave’s been twittering away from Trent Bridge where Ireland won the toss and put Bangladesh in to bat. Set a target of 138 to win, Ireland started slowly but steadily and are currently on 105 for 4 from 16 overs. An opening win is within reach. Now 138-4 from 18.2 overs. An opening win for Ireland in the ICC World Twenty20! Update It also puts Bangladesh out of the competition and Ireland guaranteed to go through to the Super8s even before they face India on June 10.
