This could prove addictive…

SOME nice marketing from Coca Cola. Spotted the Belfast city Where’s Wally-style advert on a bus shelter, but it’s actually a rather nifty interactive online competition too. Great locally-specific detail, like the Goth kids outside City Hall.

Be careful, Gonzo. It’s a slippery road that starts out espousing the virtues of Coca-Cola and ends up supporting the invasion of some country and enslaving its formerly carefree inhabitants.

We will have to keep an eye on you. If you start spouting verses from the Old Testament as well we’ll know you’ve been acquired as “an asset” by some organisation or other.

Underlines just how increasingly clever Coke has to be about its brand. You have to, when your logo is so well known that ultimately, it becomes invisible.

The poster was created by famous German pixel-pushers eBoy for McCann-Erickson: http://hello.eboy.com/eboy/

Love the inclusion of the goths, the DeLoreans, Billy Thomson and, of course, the Big Fish. The pixel art renditions of the Botanical Gardens and The Crown are particularly impressive.

    This is very class indeed.
