Hope they lock them up and throw away the key if guilty.

  • I hope they don’t treat them as if they are part of the Troubles.

    this is just criminal.

  • NCM

If they in fact got the guys who carried out the attack, that sure didn’t take very long.

    anyone seen Rory? 😉

  • Scaramoosh

Yes, Rory fell into the “honey trap” – he clicked on the MI5 website and they went around and picked him up. 🙂

St Patricks day marks the 25th Anniversary of the shootout that ended with the capture of Dominic McGlinchey.

Wonder how his two sons, Dominic jr and Declan will reflect on the 25th anniversary ???

Are the three arrests all related to the Antrim shootings?

  • PaddyReilly

One of them is Colin Duffy

Correct. Which does not not inspire confidence in the arrests. Duffy is a perpetual arrestee, a ‘usual suspect’ of the sort rounded up in ‘Casablanca’. The malice of police forces towards someone found innocent by the courts has to be seen to be believed.

Ah, right. Just one of those ‘all mouth and no trousers’ types, is he?

  • PaddyReilly

Just one of those ‘all mouth and no trousers’ types

A generation too early to be involved in the current imbroglio, I would say. But at a time of national outrage like the present the public are likely to be persuaded to overlook score-settling by the police.

    Picture the scene.

A five-bedroomed house set on eight acres of good land just outside Bellaghy. A PSNI jeeps races up the lane and smashes through the ornate metal gates (stone lions on the gate post) before skiddin to a halt on the driveway. Nine more jeeps arrive and a phalanx of black-suited, armed PSNI men jump out. They run commando style to the front door and use a battering ram to smash it open. They rush up a grand sweeping staircase and there in a study, foaming at the mouth as he bashes the keyboard of a brand new Dell, his Armalite mounted on the wall nearby, is Rory (South Derry). Will he go quietly or will he do a Tony Montana?

    picador,
Please continue. I should really object to the man playing but it is extremely funny.

I don’t know where that random ‘They’ came from.
    Spooks probably!

  • PaddyReilly

Some more score settling going on here I fear!

me thinks Rory (South Derry) is a gibbering wreck by now. either that or its hard to get a decent signal behind a padded wall.
