  • Pete Baker

Well, as always, it’s a honour just to be nominated…

    *harrumph*

    *opens another bottle of red*

  • SuperSoupy

Woo hoo! Twenty Major represents the best of Irish blogging!

Fcuk the little Miss Prissy pants begrudgers.

  • And there was I thinking Slugger could win on merit alone.

That does it, next year we must all try and corrupt the judges and buy our way to victory.

Brown envelopes at the ready, offers of Sir slugger’s, Knights of the Slugger to all who help in this conspiracy.

I am sure there are many corrupt Loyalists and Republicans who can come together to put the fix in.

modus vivendi always works between Loyalists and Republicans if there is a bottom line.

  • scrooger

Do any of the winners have as much advertising as Slugger, and if so, do they all have the begging bowl on the side bar ??

  • I think y’all definatly should have won something, I think that this is one of the best blogs out there period and I think that this strategy of podcasting, live radio, advertising is a great example to all bloggers really.

  • mickhall

Interesting result as slugger has done well in this type of award thing in the past, I wonder what if any the changes to slugger of late, adds, radio etc have played in the voting.

Also how important are these type of awards to a site, do they generate increased usage?

  • sms

I’m new to all this but i don,t think that Irish Election .com would hold a candle to slugger. Who adjudicates on these things?

  • moochin photoman

    Ho Hum
Still……. you got name check on the politics show today (even if was by a conservative lackey!)
    (No offence Mr Lackey)

  • Archibaldgroupie

Mr Lackey = Ben Archibald of the Conservative Party if I am not mistaken. Young lad from north down who must surely be peeved Mr Leslie swooped in and run in his constituency! Not to worry, I’m sure we’ll see more of Archibald in the future.
