Blog Awards, Dublin, Saturday night!

Sadly I won’t be able to make it – I’ve to be in two places on the other side of the Irish Sea. But at the very least Richard, Naoise and Gonzo will be there. Damien has just published the event programme. If you are going, and will be blogging live, let us know and we’ll relay your latest reports to the waiting blog world. There should be a warm up piece in the Irish Times tomorrow. And they should have their own blog correspondent will be there to cover the night itself.

  • EWI

    Richard —-?

  • The Beach Tree

I think he means Fair_Deal, if it’s who I think.

  • Mick Fealty
  • EWI

    Richard Delevan blogs on Slugger…?

  • Mick Fealty

Has blogged and, I hope, may blog again.

  • Will this be a kinder, gentler Noam Delevan? If only EWI were able to come we could “all just get along”.

I believe Naoise is almost visibly excited about the potential glamour of the whole thing.

  • Naoise Nunn

Copernicus, you know I just want to be interviewed on the red carpet about my frock by Charlie Bird!

  • Naoise Nunn

Actually. I’m a bit anxious about meeting Gonzo – does he wear a cape? You know what they say about meeting your heroes!

  • Realist

Will Rev Desmond Tuto be there?

Will there be handshakes at the end?

  • I wish I could be there, but unfortunately I’ll also be stranded on the other side of the Irish sea tomorrow night. Good luck to all those nominated for the awards, especially to the team at Slugger, the site which inspired the Dreaming Armadillo to dream its way into cyberspace.

I’m sure a good night’s craic will be had by all. I wonder if 20 Major will be exempt from the smoking ban? Hopefully the wild bloglands of Ireland will be preserved for years to come!
