Discovery of files on named politicians raises the stakes on the Kincora abuse scandal

Papers naming prominent politicians of the 1970s and 80s as suspects which couldn’t be found at first have at last turned up in boxes marked “Miscellaneous” in the Cabinet Office in Whitehall.
