From the Lib Dem conference…

Or to be more precise Old Harry’s Bar in the Marriott Hotel in Bournemouth. Compared to the Tories and Labour this is small. The bulk of the conferencites appear to be here, whereas with Labour and the Tories, it spreads right across town… with limos coming and going from the Royal Bath Hotel when the ‘Blue’ team is playing at home… Impressed with the age profile of delegates, and the subject of overheard conversations has tended to be about policy and life and death struggles with rival parties like the SNP… I’ll let you know how we do when the ceremony begins…
