Events are moving pretty fast this week as we try to work out how to deal with surging case numbers and rising hospital admissions. Another grim set of statistics are the rising numbers of unemployed people, particularly under the age of 35, as we deal with the recession brought on by the pandemic.
Times are uncertain and in this fourth episode of Slugger TV to tie in with The Reset series, we turn our focus to the economics of the COVID-19 pandemic and what potential challenges and opportunities lie ahead.
Taking us through these debates are Angela McGowan (Director of CBI Northern Ireland) and Richard Ramsey (Chief Economist at Ulster Bank).
This episode was recorded in Belfast’s Accidental Theatre and was edited by Alan Meban.
If you would like to get involved in #TheReset with Ulster Bank either as an individual or as part of an organisation, please do get in touch by emailing us at [email protected] with an idea for inclusion in a range of articles or events throughout September and October.
