My day job is web projects, I have been working in the internet industry for 25 years. For most of that time I have worked from home, so working online from home is the norm for me.
I know a lot of people and organisations are trying remote work for the first time and I imagine it is a big learning curve for you all.
I am offering free advice and assistance to help you out where I can. You can email me at [email protected] but I prefer if you put your questions in the comments so other people can see the replies.
My first tip is to read Remote: No office required. Or at least read this 2 page summary of the book.
Also, feel free to ask any tech-related questions on what gear to buy, best tools etc.

I help to manage Slugger by taking care of the site as well as running our live events. My background is in business, marketing and IT. My politics tend towards middle-of-the-road pragmatism, I am not a member of any political party. Oddly for a member of the Slugger team, I am not that interested in daily politics, preferring to write about big ideas in society. When not stuck in front of a screen, I am a parkrun Run Director.
