After 3,047,041 UK wide signatures, Northern Ireland seems indifferent to a new EU Referendum…

Grateful to Claire for flagging this up on Twitter last night. If the signatures to the petition calling for a suspension of Article 50 is anything to go by Northern Ireland is best indifferent and at worse actually in favour of Mrs May’s Brexit deal…

Or maybe it is that broadband, particularly in the border areas where indifference appears almost universal. The petition has broken 3 million in a very short time, which puts the Northern Ireland performance into stark relief.

Maybe it will take off as word gets round locally, but for now it gives the distinct impression that NI is pro May’s version of soft Brexit deal?
