The Annual Tweet Up is Back! Tonight

Tweet Up

Do you remember Slugger and NICVA held separate tweet ups last year? Well….we have decided to bring them together this year for one big social media fest that you will not want to miss.

The day will begin at 2pm with some great workshops on social media looking at issues surrounding going viral and how to promote content online. There will be a great chance to network and chat to other people who thrive on social media. To book a spot and see a full agenda please click here.

Then we have our evening festivities with a drinks session in the Hudson from 6pm and our special guest speaker will be Basil McCrea MLA and we will have other public reps like Mairtin Ó Muilleoir MLA popping by to talk social media.

We will also have our very own editor, Mick Fealty giving his musings on social media.

And back by popular demand we will have live drawing from the cartoonist, Brian John Spencer.

We will also be live streaming the Cameron/Miliband debate from 9pm

This event is open to all, so make sure you come along and chat with your social media counterparts.

We are reader supported. Donate to keep Slugger lit!

For over 20 years, Slugger has been an independent place for debate and new ideas. We have published over 40,000 posts and over one and a half million comments on the site. Each month we have over 70,000 readers. All this we have accomplished with only volunteers we have never had any paid staff.

Slugger does not receive any funding, and we respect our readers, so we will never run intrusive ads or sponsored posts. Instead, we are reader-supported. Help us keep Slugger independent by becoming a friend of Slugger. While we run a tight ship and no one gets paid to write, we need money to help us cover our costs.

If you like what we do, we are asking you to consider giving a monthly donation of any amount, or you can give a one-off donation. Any amount is appreciated.
