One of the consistent things you are going to hear from me here on Slugger (apart from sorry about the outtages) is the importance of policy. There’s a perception that it’s too wonky to sell to ordinary folk, but as the crisis in meat production, getting policy right can be the difference be great success, or great failure. Nothing demonstrates a commonality of interest between all Northern Irelanders between our dependence on a common food chain.
