And, Slugger is back…

Sorry for the outage… It was longer than we might hoped. The database started unravelling on Thursday and by Friday morning it was completely gone. We worked on Friday, but ran out of road/time to get it sorted in time for the weekend. Simon has been working on it all day to get back in working order.

What really need is a package that has the deep maintence compris. That’s expensive though, and easily outruns the small budget Slugger earns through advertising… So in the week or two, I’ll be looking at ways we can bump that up to cover the more expensive package…

In the meantime, welcome back… and in celebration of our one minute of fame from Thursday, when Slugger made a fleeting appearance on the BBC2 quiz programme, Eggheads…
