“I can announce today that within the next few weeks Secretary of State Hillary Clinton specifically wants to come to Northern Ireland to help look at the jobs and opportunities and investment that America can bring to Northern Ireland,” [Shaun Woodward] said.

She will travel to London first on 10 October. Mrs Clinton is expected to meet Taoiseach Brian Cowen and Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin when she arrives in Dublin the following day. On 12 October she will travel to Belfast to meet political leaders there.
