The Catalan situation is interesting. Apparently a whole series of local votes are planned on the question of independence. All the big national parties are foaming at the mouth, quite funny really.

One village has already voted 96% in favour of Catalan independence. Perhaps, if and when a UI vote arrives, certain areas should run parallel polls rejecting Irish unity. Perhaps Crossmaglen should run a poll right now, excluding itself from the UK.

    Dewi,

Thanks for the intro to No Good Boyo – a genuinely funny bloke with a nice turn of phrase. My (Welsh) wife also loved: “I was born in a small village just off the coast of Wales in the 60’s and should have stayed there.”

    Nos da.
