A bit of a ruck over Derry City’s hospitality tent…

First, well done to the Candy Stripes for getting to the next round of the Europa Cup, by beating Skonto Riga 1-0. But it was preceded by a bizarre little silly season story in which former Derry City supporter Gregory Campbell along with SDLP councillors came to the rescue of the club over the funding of a hospitality tent it wanted at the ground. Sinn Fein councillors took the view that the club should have sought catering facilities in the local area around the Brandywell ground.
