If the reception accorded so far to the news of the establishment of this secret inquiry and Sir John Chilcott’s appointment as head of it from the Opposition, (some) backbench Labour MP’s, the mainstream press (excluding the Telegraph) and the general public (including yours truly) is anything to go by then the answer to that question must be a resounding, “NO!”.
