  • percy

Its funny Mark, but dya think smuggling, racketeering, and cold-blooded murder are such a laugh?

  • bootman

    It’s funnier without the subtitles!

  • Stevie

    Hahah that was very good

  • Tir Eoghain Gael

That was funny, you tell them Willy!, I am sure they are s****ing themselves!! [Mind your language! – Mods]

  • ciaran

It’s almost sad to see this pathetic little man rant away like this. Almost but not quite.

  • RepublicanStones

Hilarious. The guy belongs on a register !

  • slug

    In commenting:

    1. Remember there should be no playing of the man on this blog.

    2. Remember that Willie Frazer suffered more than most in terms of sheer number very close relatives being killed in the troubles.

  • It was Sammy Mc Nally what done it

It is very funny, and a touch libelous.

But he doesn’t attack anybody and has the courage of his convictions and should be admired for his bravery and as Slug indicates has suffered pretty horribly from actions directed by those who live in the South Armagh area.

Unfortunately for Willie, as the delivery of the message is just as important as the message itself, he is probably assisting those he is opposed to more than he is damaging them.

  • Pancho’s Horse

Has Willy not got a Special Branch passenger these days?

  • Tir Eoghain Gael

I seriously cannot think of any other words to describe him!!

  • ggn

    “There’re all the one”

    Quite.

  • blinding

This man should be kept under close supervision at all times as he is obviously living on the edge and there is no telling what he will do when he falls off that edge.

    Memo to authorities

    Watch Willie Frazier.

  • Suzanne Breen’s “A loyalist in Bandit Country” – for those who like their whiskey neat.

  • Dec

To be fair he delivered a strong message to Loyalist paramilitaries – stop smuggling! Apparently 40 years of shooting catholics in the back was fine. Smugglings a big no-no though!

  • William

I can’t understand how the Moderator can allow this personal abuse of Mr. Frazer from Sinn Fein / IRA apologists and McGregor [who appears to be 2 I/c to Mick] who is as evil in this respect, which one would expect him not to be.

I had a comment removed this week and it was merely to the effect that a DUP politican’s wife [who is also a politican] had a whiney voice. Yet here we have libellous comments from Republicans and a self-styled Slugger ‘citizen journalist’ joining in with the reptiles as they savage their prey, Mr. Frazer.

Where are you Mick??…keeping your head down in Devon or are you not bother about these disgraceful posts????

An answer is needed Mick…I don’t wish to have to use the landline to get hold of you to ask you why you haven’t removed some of them at least.

  • Why am I still a UUP voter?

This is indeed pretty p*sspoor stuff from a site that’s more generally pretty self-satisfiedly sanctimonious about the whole, perfectly reasonable, ‘ball not man’ stuff.

  • Dave

I don’t regard it as acceptable for a Stormont minister to seek to pre-empt the outcome of a PSNI investigation by dismissing the complainant as “a well-known fantasist” or to encourage that complainant to become the subject of public ridicule.

If the police confirm that Mr Frazer was assaulted by thugs in Conor Murphy’s constituency, will he publically withdraw his remark and apologise for it?

Or will the authorities feel obliged to skew their investigation so that the minister is not discredited by his remarks in much the same manner as occurred when Mr Murphy sought to pre-empt the outcome of the police investigation into the murder of Paul Quinn (also in his constituency)?

Conor Murphy is demonstratively not fit to hold public office.

  • percy

    Correct Dave
As/when the killers are caught, he’ll have to resign

  • Greenflag

    slug –

‘Remember that Willie Frazer suffered more than most in terms of sheer number very close relatives being killed in the troubles.’

Indeed – It has been known to unhinge minds and to turn ordinary people into the rut of perpetual revnege and hatred . Big mistake though . I hate to say it’s time he moved on but he needs to and the rest of the gobshites on here making fun of the man should examine how they would feel if their nearest and dearest were mown down so that Peter & Martin could abscond to Washington DC so as to ‘govern ‘ NI .

  • Dec

…rest of the gobshites on here making fun of the man should examine how they would feel if their nearest and dearest were mown down so that Peter & Martin could abscond to Washington DC so as to ‘govern ‘ NI .

Maybe they’ve had relatives murdered by the UVF/UDA and are perhaps upset by Mr Frazer’s attitude to them – “shouldn’t be in prison”,” if you buy smuggled fuel you’re as bad as them (republicans)” – just a thought?

  • steve

The man is a complete idiot. His father and uncle were both members of an army that was fighting another army. If they didn’t want to be killed they should have left, it’s a work hazard and there are no misconceptions when you join, the same goes for the IRA members who were killed.

Unfortunately people are taking this way too seriously. The man show’s himself for what he is here, an absolute nutjob who is so full of hatred towards the republican and nationalist community that he feels the need to go on vitriolic rants and make up fantasy stories about republicans trying to kill him. He needs to grow up, where is his video evidence he got with the cameraman being in the car?? What kind of man sits in a square in a ton where he is not wanted just to annoy the locals? It’s actually harrasment and he should be arrested for loitering.

The video is quite good I have to say.

  • Billy

    Slug

“Remember that Willie Frazer suffered more than most in terms of sheer number very close relatives being killed in the troubles.”

    Indeed he did.

However, that is not an excuse for his outrageous behaviour.

He stated in public that they (“loyalist” terrorists released under the GFA) should never have been locked up in the first place.

He defends “loyalist” sectarian murderer and member of the infamous Glenanne gang, Robert McConnell, as an innocent victim. Indeed his “parade” in Dublin had placards commemorating McConnell whose gang were involved in the Dublin + Monaghan bombings.

He was refused a gun permit by the PSNI because of his associations with “loyalist” terrorists. When he attempted to challenge this judgement in Court – the Judge threw it out and stated that the Police had provided clear and irrefutable evidence to support their assertions.

I sympathize with any and all those who have lost family to terrorism. However, this does not give anyone the right to go around supporting terrorists “loyalists” or otherwise.

The truth is that Frazer is a bitter man and a blatent hypocrite.

Unionists seem to think that he should be allowed to spout his hypocritical nonsense with no criticism because of what his family suffered.

However, if one of the thousands of Catholics
who have lost family to terrorism came out with some of the bile that Frazer does, this site would crash with Unionists trying to get on to castigate them.

“His father and uncle were both members of an army that was fighting another army. If they didn’t want to be killed they should have left, it’s a work hazard and there are no misconceptions when you join, the same goes for the IRA members who were killed.”

The IRA usually murdered their prisoners of war.

“Has Willy not got a Special Branch passenger these days?”

Speaking of branches, SF cut my tree down, I reckon he should come to my house,

possibly, and make a video. I could put bandage on my head, and roll around on grass crying

Willie ‘was it the IRA scum

    Me “I think it was”

Willie “Is that beaten to death tree yours”

Me ” Aaaah, my poor wee tree, the IRA scum”

    We could do that.

    Hi William,
May I refer you to the catalog of abuse that was posted on Slugger by loyalists / unionists following the death of Siobhan O’Hanlon. Now that was disgraceful.
While his FAIR organisation and Willies behaviour often leave a lot to be desired, I believe Willie is entitled to travel where he likes and when he likes. As long as he conducts himself within the law. I do not believe he was breaking the law by driving / touring around S. Armagh.
At this point in time I believe he was indeed attacked, if in the unlikely event it transpires that he was not attacked then what little is left of his credibility will be completely shot.
With regards to his links to loyalists, it seems his sympathies lie in that direction.

  • slartibuckfast

Word has reached me that yes indeed 15 men did try and abduct Wilhelm as he drove though south Armagh, so he is correct in what he says there. What he fails to mention though is that they were all wearing white coats and carrying butterfly nets.

St. Luke’s hospital in Armagh has so far refused to comment.

  • Rapunsel

Pretty poor stuff trying to pass as satire. Very disappointed in Slugger in letting this on.
I know Willie Frazer , he’s suffered a lot and yes both him and organisation Fair hold extreme views with which I disagree. Thing is though the issues they are seeking to address won’t go away just because people are trying to take the piss out of him.

  • Greenflag

    Dec ,

‘Maybe they’ve had relatives murdered by the UVF/UDA and are perhaps upset by Mr Frazer’s attitude to them’

Then maybe they should have prefaced their remarks or added a post script that would have lent some more credence to their posts . We’re flogging a dead horse here with Fraser . Any Loyalist eejit who goes into South Armagh to tell the natives what he thinks of them to their face is like an Israeli going into downtown Mecca during Ramadan , standing on an orange box, and telling passers by that their religion is a bunch of crap . Not clever at all at all . Said Israeli may be factually correct but we are talking here about a deep martyr syndrome complex . Perhaps subconsciously WF wants to die for Ulster/NI the Bible or the Queen and he’s upset that the IRA can’t be bothered to do the needful in these changed times ?

The people of South Armagh are to be commended for their tolerance and for allowing Mr Fraser to escape with a few dents to a vehicle . I’m sure his insurance company will not be amused .

  • slartibuckfast

Oh Wilhelm wants to be murdered by the Provos all right, it’s just that he wants to attend his own funeral as chief mourner and appear on the 6 news that same night condemning it.

  • NP

Always thought Willie F. was an auld boy given his usual rant. He needs to get that fringe sorted out.

  • ABC

Could Willie settle this matter once and for all and show us the camera footage? Mocking the intellectually afflicted is all well and good, but we need to keep in mind the suffering that this man has gone through. If he was physically attacked and there was a camera-man present surely the footage could be made available?

  • Dewi

    They pinched the camera.

  • edward

I have no doubt there was some sort of altercation but to me it seems staged and all too convenient especially as the camera man has taken a very low profile and not backed wee willies statements publicaly

At the very least he has inflated the story but I suspect it wasn’t a story so much as a pantomime set up for the benefit of the camera man

wee williy suffered at the hands of the IRA that is a given but why does that give him the right to victimise every body in South Armagh?

and how long before the customs has willys number blocked lol

  • They pinched the camera.

Then show us pics of the ‘battered car’ or the bruises on his leg. Surely one of them had a camera-phone?:

Mr Frazer said they punched and kicked him viciously and when they couldn’t get him fully out of the car, they repeatedly slammed the door on his leg.

    (from: http://victims.org.uk/, Frazer’s blog)

I bet that hurt! So show us the bruises. And the car.

  • “goes into South Armagh to tell the natives”

Greenflag, Frazer is, er, one of the natives the PRM didn’t murder.

  • pith

I’m afraid I know little about Frazer and whatever he has suffered. And I can’t say that what I have heard apart him is particulary appealling. However by posting this video here, Mark McGregor comes across as a sniggering child who wants to be liked by the playground bully.
