Via the Professor. A quick heads-up to any bloggers, or others, using SiteMeter to track website usage statistics. It appears to be broken for IE7 users who are getting an “IE cannot open the Internet site – Operation aborted” message. Quick fix – Just delete the SiteMeter code and it’ll work fine. Thankfully there is an alternative. Adds Here’s a wikipedia page noting the problem. More here. Update 8.20pm. As Paulie notes in the comments, SiteMeter seem to have resolved their difficulties. And they have finally acknowledged the problem.
