Slugger makes top 100 British blogs…

Number 58 at the moment, according to Blogstorm.co.uk. We’re currently number three in Ireland, on the nearest equivalent I know of: Irishblog.info. Before people start running around accusing Slugger of being British or Irish and being a dirty rotten sell out, can I just point out that the magnificent Arseblog, is both very British (number 33) and hugely Irish (undisputed number one).

This is a great site mick,it should be number 1.

  • Mick Fealty

Politics just ain’t that popular, in either place!

  • Arseblog is 100% Irish, although I suppose we get lumped in with British blogs because of the nature of the content.

See you on the way up, Mick.

  • Justin

    Much deserved, congrats!

    “Best British Blog” … FFS.

Can’t you just see Mick at home practicing his best kneel for when his adored “The Queen” finally makes him a KNIGHT OF THE REALM!!!!! Don’t wet yourself tonight dreaming all about it Mick. Well deserved though, you’re a real pillar.

    BB,

    You never disappoint! 😉

Thanks arse!! Can’t stand the club, but love the writing!

  • Cheers!

  • Frank Sinistra

I must insist that Slugger mentions Arsenal more regularly, talk about the midas touch!

Woo hoo! (opens a midweek beer)

  • Hi Mick and Company !

    Number 58 ‘over there’ and a more-deserved Number 3 here ?
Both placings sell the site short : might yet give you a wee plug on our blog . Hate to see you struggling like that…
    😉

    All the best !

    Sharon.

    Mick

I don’t think anyone would accuse Slugger of being pro British even though it is centred around issues relating to NI.

Well done nevertheless, I find the posts interesting reading what ‘them uns’ think of my culture and tradition.

Congrats to Sir Mick!! The Brits only claim anything Irish if it’s successful. I’m old enough to remember Liam Brady scoring a brilliant long distance goal for Arsenal against Spurs after which John Motson asked “Who said British players couldn’t bend the ball?”. Doubt if they’ll be claiming poor Stan!!

“…the magnificent Arseblog, is both very British (number 33) and hugely Irish (undisputed number one).”

Much like the magnificent Gunners themselves then.

Dirty rotten sell out Mick! No – excellent always – now need to work out the economic model.

    Outsider,

Just to point out, we have ‘usuns’ ‘themuns’ and ‘others’ on the writing team. Whereas the commenters are self elected.
