Security upgrade at the top..

A short report points to the upgrade of the permament police presence at the Assembly, to accompany the new X-ray facility Mark Devenport noted previously. Meanwhile, down from the top, a “suspicious device” has been found after a telephone warning prompted the evacuation of residents in the Lower Ormeau area of south Belfast. The report doesn’t identify which organisation, if any, is responsible. Adds now described as an “elaborate hoax.”
