I’m not getting in as much blogging as I would have liked, mostly to do with commitments elsewhere. By the weekend, I hope to hook up with the BBC man charged with decoding the mysteries of Europe, and one of it’s latest blogging talents, Mark Mardell. He may be planning to blog under canvass, but my meagre Slugger budget doesn’t yet run to a decent mobile internet browser: much to the relief of my nearest and dearest! What’s bloggable from that encounter, should appear sometime soon after the weekend! Talking about creating interesting online/offline connections, if you are on Facebook, why not join the Readers of Slugger O’Toole group (Facebook readers can find it here). I’d like to use it to help organise small group get-togethers, discussions, chats over a pint in several cities across ‘the archipelago’ and/or beyond.
