The order of business..

Via regular commenter Rubicon comes news of the order of business for the final plenary session of the transitional assembly on Monday – “It’s all pretty obvious; oath of office for FM & DFM followed by d’Hondt for the ministers. What’s more interesting is that the Business Committee went further to put on the agenda the election of a new Speaker and nomination of Committee Chairs & Deputy Chairs.” That will have to be signed off on by the Secretary of State, of course.. Whether all those items will be completed on the day is another question. Meanwhile, DUP leader Ian Paisley is in Downing St ahead of tomorrow’s DUP executive meeting.
