Apologies: the latest ‘cheapo wheaze’…

Brian Feeney slams into the Secretary of State for Wales etc.. for his spate proposed apologies. For those of a delicate disposition, look away now.

    who dislikes hain the most

    brian or Pete?

Peter Hain is certainly an opportunist with sympathies for SF-IRA. But Brian Feeney is a bigot who has no interest in reconciliation with his Unionist neighbours.

Feeney’s a bigot and he hates Prods but if you ask me to put in balance Hain is worse. He made an Ass of himself with the Belfast Port slavery apology. Not only was he wrong but Belfast stood up and Presbyterians led the opposition to slavery. Hain is vain and only interested in his next job, deputy Leader of the Labour Party, the man stands for nothing; not party, people, labour, nothing. A sad vacuous soul. I do not agree he should apologise in Dublin to the Irish. war’s war and that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

I really hope I can remember this and use it in evidence against you later

    Monty,

    “War is war”.

The people attending the match on the day were not at war. They were UK citizens at the time and were killed by the forces of their own government who in theory were supposed to be upholding the law.

Having said that I believe an apology would be pointless. If someone killed me I don’t think someone else apologising in 80 years time would help me much!
