New blog awards…

It’s surely good news that the Digital Media Awards now have a blog section. Though as TCL have pointed out the €130 charge for entry (okay for an industry player, but hardly viable for most individual bloggers) must mean they are likely to miss the vast majority of blog ‘players’. I wrote to them last week pointing out as much, but have still to get a response.

  • What does the €130 cover? Lunatics.

  • I have come to the conclusion that politics are too serious a matter to be left to the politicians.

  • Be a good listener. Your ears will never get you in trouble.

As he dropped by, I’ve got to say Twenty Major is the only one of the lot that delivers a smile on a regular basis.

    Top blog Twenty!

Sorry just realised this about the Irish Blog awards.

    Still stands, Twenty is top.

    Mick,

Is it not an Media Industry competition? I don’t think they expect hobby sites to enter.

Complaining about this is a bit like complaining the Brits wouldn’t consider the mix tape you did on your double-deck tape recorder.
