The reprieve of Hubble

Some science news, to fill this week’s quota in case you’re wondering [Hmm – Ed], NASA have announced that they will, after all, send the Space Shuttle Discovery on a mission to service and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope – to the delight of astronomers – which should extend Hubble’s orbital lifetime to at least 2013.. and, in the process, provide even better investigations of the cosmos than those already in evidence. The Guardian, correctly, calls it the reprieve of Hubble.
