Ciaran Cuffe noted that most of his constituents will probably first have heard of his blog through his op ed piece in the Irish Times this morning. The blog is different from his official site “it’s fun to let the hair down and talk about the Leonard Cohen gig. Although I wish I had more time to blog, because the more successful blogs take a longer time to think it through and carefully put the links together”. Finally he notes that “blogging is a bit like canvassing for votes in bars, a few days before an election, emotions run higher than in real life. It’s why politicians don’t canvass in bars. But it’s fun”.
