The Slugger League: An Update

After 5 weeks, the inaugural Fantasy Football Slugger League has got off to a pacy start, with no fewer than 70 teams entering our League to compete for the title of Champions of the Slugger world. At this stage, the early leader is Tony Morgan’s ‘High As A Kuyt,’ with 267 points- making him 17,765th out of more than 932,000 global teams in the overall FA Premier League competition, which puts him in the top 2% percent of competitors worldwide (well done Tony!)

Greg C’s ‘Gutter Stars’ are a close second (263 pts) while The Clady Cowboy, with his ‘Gael Force Wins,’ is currently in 3rd place (260 pts.)

The league remains open to anyone still wishing to enter: simply enter a team on the FA Fantasy Premier League website and the League code is 275765-48351. Obviously you’ll be at a bit of a disadvantage (in that your chances of catching up on Tony’s 267 point lead are less than zilch) but you can set yourself the less ambitious target of at least catching up with the chasing pack.

The current ranking is listed first, followed by team name and manager, then most recent week’s score, and finally overall points to date.
