The third piece from the U3A group for the creative reconciliation project. I spoke to the Cnocnafeola Centre last nightabout the final exhibition/reading in October. I’ll let you know about that soon but not now – I (desperately) need my beauty sleepZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

Repent
Envy
Controlling others in our midst
One-ness – others
No – never – nonsense
Community
Inclusive – interested
Lost in it all
I’m in – I’m out
All people together
Team work
Include me please
Offer a small show of friendship helps
Now it is all over

  • “I (desperately) need my beauty sleepZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz” that’s what I like – honesty 😉

  • dave w

    never has done before…

enough – please discuss the poem and have it (the discussion)on my desk in the morning

  • ozzy

Ok. I actually find the poem interesting and I feel that it expresses how communities can be divided but how by communicating and showing freindship differences can sometimes be overcome.

    Is this soon enough!!!!!

  • dave w

    yup – thanks ozzy : )

Thanks Sir, As an English person may be I should recollect one of my experiences in Northern Ireland. I was visiting friends who had a mixed marriage. It was quite interesting that when either of my friends were present her family would say one thing about the conflict but when neither were present the conversation I had with her family were different. I found it interesting but for reconcilliation to work people have to open and honest and not just say what they think others want them to say. I know it is difficult in a family situation.
