The NO2ID campaign has been providing sustained criticism of the proposals for a National ID card and database scheme. The Sunday Times has revealed they have two interesting supporters for their criticisms, David Foord and Peter Smith. What makes their criticism unusual is that they are senior civil servants charged with implementing the plan. Their criticisms were revealed in leaked emails.
